Polygon is an Ethereum Layer-Two protocol and a framework designed to tackle the problems associated with the use of Ethereum. Utilizes the main Ethereum code and has an Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This is referred to as the Plasma framework, considered by developers to be a sidechain solution, allowing them to create and market their dApps more efficiently.
